Table Tennis Rankings

Last weekend our governing body “Table Tennis England” kindly provided the Grimsby, Cleethorpes and District League with a set of player rankings, from their computer. My current personal Ranking is 43\121. (121 being ranked). In my humble opinion some better players were ranked below me and some “inferiors” were rated higher.

So, I did my own count, using our “Average Lists” as a guide, and came up with… 43\127!!! A few players were hard to call of course. There is a whole bunch of them at roughly my standard of play. On another day the result might have been different. Players might have been swopped around, higher or lower, with another count. Furthermore, players such as Bob Bartle and Keith Whatley haven’t appeared in the league this season. But hey, what an amazing agreement with that 43. So there we are. Nuff Said. Out.

PS I rate myself number 6 in Division 2. 

PPS I also rate myself 14\23 in Division 1.
